The Birthing of Cornerstone Tupelo

Campus pastors Jeff and Shari Robbins, who pastored in Florida for six years and the Memphis area for ten years, felt at the beginning of 2014 that God was calling them to launch a Cornerstone Church in Tupelo.

Jeff and Shari were on staff at Cornerstone Church in Southaven, so they approached the lead pastors, Greg and Nancy Davis, to share what God had put on their hearts.  Pastors Greg and Nancy agreed that it was God’s will and timing to establish a ministry having the same DNA of the church in Southaven in Tupelo.

After much prayer, planning, and preparation, the church in Southaven agreed to invest the time, energy, and finances to renovate the former East Heights Assembly of God church to make the ministry a reality.

Shari graduated from Tupelo High School, and Jeff from Shannon, and both have a rich history at the church that is now Cornerstone Church Tupelo.  Shari grew up as the pastor’s daughter, and Jeff’s family was involved in leadership for many years. Their hearts are to see Cornerstone Church Tupelo thriving and impacting the region.
